Gem Photographic Limited is a limited company registered in England and Wales with registered company number 9409493and whose registered office is at Cooper Paul Accountants, Abacus House, 14-18 Forest Road, Loughton, Essex, IG10 1DX.
This Disclaimer governs the relationship between you as the user and Gem Photographic Limited. By your use of the website and the services provided through the website you are agreeing to these terms.

General Terms
1 These purchase terms comprise a binding contract between you as the user of this website, the services provided through the website and Gem Photographic Limited for the purchase of photographic products.

2 The information contained in this website is for general information purposes only. The information is provided by Gem Photographic Limited and we endeavour to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no guarantees with regards to the accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with regards to the website or the information, services and products contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance placed on the information is therefore strictly at your own risk.

3 Your contract for purchases is made through Gem Photographic Limited’s ordering website and you undertake that all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only and are not for public resale.

4 Gem Photographic Limited will not be responsible or liable for any consequential loss or damage whatsoever arising as a result of a failure, refusal or inability to process and fulfil an order by Gem Photographic Limited.

5 All prices featured online or on paper proofs include VAT (United Kingdom Value added Tax) at the applicable rate.

6 Gem Photographic Limited reserves the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services at any time and without notice and does not accept liability for any errors and/or omissions contained on our website.

6.1 If an error is discovered in the price of the goods on our website that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order that was advertised at an incorrect price. In the event that you order and the price published on www.gemphotographic.co.uk is incorrect we will contact you to inform you that we have not accepted your order. You will be advised of the correct price of the product. You will be given the option to cancel your order or choose to continue at the correct price. If you wish to cancel your order, we shall refund the full amount within 30 days of the date of order. Should you choose to continue with the order at the correct price, an adjustment transaction will be made.

7 We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

8 Gem Photographic Limited owns the copyright to all the photographs its takes, except where copyright in a picture, or set of pictures is specifically re-assigned in a written agreement. All content on this site belongs to our company or licensors. It is prohibited and illegal to copy, download, modify or remove any watermarks or logos from our images without prior written consent. Unauthorised reproduction of any images without permission is strictly prohibited.

8.1 Customers who buy digital images (JPEGS) will be granted permission to use these in any way they choose, provided it is solely for their own personal and private use. This permission specifically excludes the use of these images for any business or commercial purposes or for publication or broadcast without separate and specific consent.

9 Every item we supply is made individually to order. We publish target delivery times for the products on our website and do our very best to turn each order around within this time. Delivery times however cannot be guaranteed. Whilst we will always do our best to help, Gem Photographic Limited cannot take responsibility for any problems that arise with deliveries, (such as delays due to strikes, isolation or staff shortages) that occur once an order has left the lab and in the hands of Royal Mail or any other external Courier Service.

10 Gem Photographic Limited takes no responsibility for and will not be liable for the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
